We need to stop the billions of animals from being bred for human needs! EVERYONE KNOWS they emit much more green house gas than all alternatives that should be considered to sustain those needs!  All other options to SLOW Global Warming (including slower options) have to be seriously discussed daily by (separate) legislative assemblies, to make more decisions more quickly.  It is my conclusion that we get there through a durable change in 1) Political culture -- our institutions and our democracy ideal has to be taken a step further. 2) University culture -- prioritise studying and teaching students these issues with special committees made up of all disciplines around the clock. 3) Popular culture -- make the changes in diet and practices. (Will definitely cause a contestation in culture at large. Haven't seen any of that yet...)
